1. Who we are

SigmaWagering (the “Site”) is operated for membership, analytics, and education related to quantitative wagering research. This summary explains how we handle personal data in line with common Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (“PDPO”) expectations. It is not legal advice.

2. Data we collect

Account identifiers (email, phone), credentials you create, technical logs (IP, device/browser type, pages viewed), cookie identifiers for session and language, and correspondence you send us.

3. Purposes

Providing membership services, authentication, security, analytics to improve the Site, customer support, and — if you have not opted out — promotional updates about SigmaWagering products (you may opt out at signup or by contacting us).

4. Legal basis & retention

We process data as necessary to perform our contract with you, comply with law, and pursue legitimate interests (fraud prevention, service improvement) where not overridden by your rights. We retain data only as long as needed for these purposes unless longer retention is required by law.

5. Sharing

We may use vetted processors (hosting, email delivery, payments once enabled) under confidentiality and data-processing terms. We do not sell personal data.

6. Security

We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to a demo/staging environment. Production deployments should harden TLS, access control, and monitoring further.

7. Your rights

8. Cross-border transfers

If processors are located outside Hong Kong, we require appropriate safeguards where mandated by law.

9. Children's data

The Site is intended for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
